Competition Rules and Regulations:

1. „Hannover-Beethoven“ International Music Festival and Competition will take place in Hannover (Germany) from 6 till 11 of August 2018 - at Landes Bildungszentrum fuer Blinde Hannover (Bleekstraße 22, 30559 Hannover).

2. Schedule: August 6-8: Masterclasses with the World Famous Music Teachers August 9-11: Competition

3. The Competition is Open to Professional and Amateur Musicians of all Nationalities in the different age groups.

4. Age categories and Repertoire

Professionals:

Instrumentalists

Group 1: Under 12 years (free programm 10-15 min.) Group 2: Between 13 and 18 years (free programm 15-20 min.) Group 3: from 19 years and up (free programm 20-25 min.)

Amateurs:

Group 1: Under 7 years (free programm 5 min.) Group 2: Between 8 and 12 years (free programm 5 min.) Group 3: Between 13 and 15 years (free programm 8 min.) Group 4: Between 16 and 18 years (free programm 8 min.) Group 5: from 19 years and up (free programm 15 min.)

Participants of Each Group has to perform ONLY ONE ROUND.

5. Following documents must be submitted and sent to artistic director per E-Mail: piano@albertmamriev.com not later than July 15, 2018

A) The Passport copy of Participant
B) The Biography of Participant
C) The Photo of Participant
D) The Program of Participant chosen for the Competition

6. Prizes: 5.000€ Prize Fund.

GRAND PRIX – „BEETHOVEN PRIZE“ – 1.500€

Professionals:

Group 1: 1 Prize - 300€; 2 Prize - 200€; 3 Prize - 100€; Group 2: 1 Prize - 500€; 2 Prize - 300€; 3 Prize - 100€;
Group 3: 1 Prize - 1.000€; 2 Prize - 600€; 3 Prize - 400€;

Amateurs:

3 BEST PARTICIPSNTS OF AMATEUR GROUP WILL BE AWARDED A SPECIAL SCHOLARSHIP FOR PARTICIPATION AT THE NEXT „HANNOVER-BEETHOVEN“ FESTIVAL 2019.

7. The Jury has a Right to stop the participant(s) any time during the performances. The members of the jury may also suggest not to give any reward if they deem that no candidate is worthy. However, the Final decision will be made by the Chairman.

8. Famous producers, critics, festivals and competitions directors will be invited to attend the performances.

9. Financial settlements: Travel, accommodation and visa costs, if necessary, are the responsibility of the participants themselves. To these accepted applicants needing a visa, an official invitation will be sent.

10. Copyright. Full copyright is held by Mr. Albert Mamriev and/or ist assignees and licensees. All stages of the Competition may be broadcast live and/or may be recorded and videotaped for subsequent broadcast, video, DVD, audio recording or any other format/media use. It is anticipated that recordings of selected Competition performances will be commercially produced, that a documentary of the Competition incorporating selected performances will be produced for television, and that parts of the Competition will be made available on the Internet. Camera crews may photograph all Competition events. Neither Mr. Albert Mamriev nor ist assignees or licensees may be held liable for any payments to participants arising out of materials derived from Competition performances.
